Schoolhouse Sampler

The Schoolhouse Sampler is the newest design in the Dropcloth Sampler tutorial series.  This jam packed design does not disapoint.  Inspired by the history of American sampler making and makers, Rebecca filled this pattern with stitch tutorials, letters, and eight different pattern squares.

+ What's Included?
The sampler arrives preprinted on cotton quilting fabric, ready to stitch and includes basic instructions. You provide your own threads, needles, and hoop.

+ What size is it?
The Original Sampler measures approximately 10" x 12"

+ How should I back my sampler?
For best results, I recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest,
most even stitches this way. Check out my how to for this step on creativebug or IGTV (@dropcloth)

+ What size hoops should I use? I like a size 6- but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.
