DMC Punch Needle Tool

The Punchneedle is a technique similar to the relief embroidery.  By working on both the right side and the reverse side of the work, one alternates a rendering of curls and weaving. The results are modern creations with varied textures.

Materials: Steel needle with a wooden handle ideal for a precise grip and regular curls with thick yarns. 

Handle Measurement: 4.33 inches, 11 cm 

Needle Measurement: 1.38 inches, 3.5 cm 

Needle extends the length of the handle so that the yarn slides well inside. 

Accompanying the Punch Needle is a 6.5 inch (16.5 cm) Wooden Needle which allows the yarn to pass easily through the handle of the tool and through the needle. The wooden needle can also be used to hide the yarns at the end of the work or other finishes.
